I wanna blog but I am sooo uninspired nowadays! Why? Why? Why?

Hmmm..on a brighter note, I am addicted to reading again. I think it has been quite a while since I visited the library. Currently reading a family series by Catherine Anderson. Love her books actually.

Woah!! It's been quite awhile since I blogged eh?? Must have been damn busy and all. Tsk, tsk...so let's see, what updates do I have ya??

Hey! Selamat Hari Raya everyone!! Hope you all are having a fantastic Hari Raya with your loved ones!! :)

Since I don't really have that many relatives, my family only visited 2 houses. This year, Hari Raya is especially great cos my lil' nephew is sooooo cute in his baju raya!! Picture will be up soon. Too lazy to upload now...

That brings me to wonder whether there will be a jalan raya this year with the jc gang. Hmmmmm....

Ouh, so back to where I was saying about the 1st day of Raya, since I only had 2 houses to visit, I reached home pretty early, about 4 plus, I think. So anyway, reached home, relaxed on my bed, smsing with the bf who did not really go out as well, and guess what? We decided to catch a movie!!

Yay! It's a first for me to go out as normal watching a movie when everyone else are visiting relatives. Hehehehe, so we caught the movie Inglorious Basterds. I think most of you know it's directed by Quentin Tarantino. I think most guys are BIG fans of that guy..me?? Not so la eh. I did not even catch Kill Bill.

But then, I thought the movie was pretty interesting. It definitely had a few hilarious moments in the show but I always thought Quentin Tarantino's movies are abit strange. I just don't know why, I just think they are strange. Haha.

So, there you go. My first day of Raya. :)

Okay, our 2 year anniversary is approaching.

I already got him a pair of Crocs. Mind you, it is not those ugly crocs for guys. His has calf leather and it actually looks like a pair of boots on him when he wears them. It actually looks good on him!!

Apart from that, I wanna get him something else..

But I don't know what to get him la..

I'm going beserk la....

Met the boyfriend yesterday to break our fast together. Since it was quite late and I was from tuition, we decided to go Jurong Point to have dinner. Ate at Thai Express and I ordered Tom Yum Hor Fun.

It's really really really nice but abit too ex la..

After which he rode like mad and we reached town within 20mins. Haha.

Got to try it out. It is so pretty. Excitingnye!! Upgrade hor baby?? You dah janji tau.... :)

Am meeting him again later. YAY!!!

BABE, IT'S OKAY...

Babe, it's okay if you sometimes feel lost and you have no idea what you want to achieve.

I myself was lost, trying to find a meaningful and satisfying job. If you remember correctly, I took 2 years...or thereabouts to find what I really wanted to do.

I won't say I am now 100% sure what I want to do. Right now, I will just say that I am about 80% sure..

People always say that the grass is greener on the other side. It may or may not be true. For me, I will keep searching for a job that may not neccessarily make me happy, but MOST important is that I do NOT drag my feet to work.

To me, this is the most important indicator as to whether I will stay long in a job. If you remember correctly, I switch jobs like I switch on lights like that. One month tukar, one month tukar..hahahah...some call me a job hopper but to me, it is ultimately finding the right niche for myself. Others may perceive me to be that way, but hey, this current job is the longest I have stayed and not once have I dragged my feet to work.

This, in itself is a big accomplishment for me you know.. I used to hate going to work when I was working as a secretary. Kept crying in the office. Depressing lei..

But babe, remember, jobs are hard to find now. You may not neccessarily like what you are doing now but I believe that you can persevere. There is nothing wrong if you want to look for other jobs!! Go ahead!! Why not?? Ultimately, it is your happiness that matters.

One advice though, until you have gotten a new job offer, make sure you still have a source of income. That's most important....The worst thing one can be is to be unemployed and incomeless. I was that way since last year. It was really depressing to depend on other people for money...

Don't worry babe, we'll always be there for you...

So, the fasting month begins. I won't deny that I have been cranky the past 2 days, but I guess it is just my body getting used to the fasting.

One good thing though, I don't get gastric that often when I'm fasting. Must be because I am giving my stomach a break from all the digesting....

Anyway ladies, how has your Ramadhan been so far? Good??

I am proud to say that I went for the 1st night of terawih. Gosh! There were so many people. And so many people stayed on to do 20 rakaat and 3 rakaat of witir..

I love going to mosque to do terawih..the environment is just so different...

I remembered asking a friend to go to the mosque to pray with me. Last time, she always gave me excuses on how she has not learned her prayers properly. But I forced her. She was like a rusa masuk kampung gitu...

But, I am glad that I forced her. To show her that prayers are important when you are a Muslim.

I don't know how she is doing right now in terms of prayers, but I do hope she changes for the better in this aspect.

I always believe in the saying, "A family that prays together, stays together."

I am not trying to preach here and I admit that sometimes I myself stray from the righteous path, but I try, try my best to fulfill the 5 compulsory prayers every day. Getting to do the terawih will be a bonus.

So ladies, if we buka together, we go terawih also ok?? Love you all. Selamat menyambut bulan Ramadhan yang penuh berkat ini.

Let's all work hard to be good Muslims, do good deeds and alwyas remember Allah swt, cause we are NOTHING without him....
